The Two Bedroom Quail Villa Suite boasts over 2,000 square feet of luxurious comfort. Overall, Quail Golf Course is a pleasant course that can be enjoyed by players of every ability. Adding to the mix are a few doglegs that are lined with large, bushy trees, as well as a few water hazards that make the course very interesting. Lining many fairways and surrounding many greens, the bunkers are relatively flat but can really punish your round if you land in them on the fairways.
The challenges lie on the interspersed trees peppering the course at random, as well as the bunkers that are seemingly placed in the same category as the trees. It’s a relatively flat course, which makes it enjoyable at all times of day, especially when considering the hot Californian sun during summer. The golf course itself is immaculately maintained and is easy to keep in such good conditions due to the geography of its location. The recently enhanced 5,944-metre / 6,500-yard, par 71 Carmel Valley golf course is perfect for the walking golfer of all ages and skill, offering just enough bite to make it interesting. Known for its playability, pristine conditions and beautifully manicured greens, the Monterey Peninsula golf course was originally designed by Robert Muir Graves in 1964 and refined in 2015 by Principle Designer Todd Eckenrode – Origins Golf Design. For the second year in a row, Quail Lodge & Golf Club has been awarded “Best Playing Conditions” for all of Central California by GreensKeeper (2016, 2017).
